The 3-gallon Butterfly Bush is one of our favorite ways to bring life into a yard. This fast-growing shrub quickly fills in with arching branches covered in fragrant flower spikes that butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds cannot resist. Once established, it handles heat and lean soil better than many flowering shrubs, offering color and movement from summer into fall. Use it as a focal point in a pollinator bed, a loose hedge along a fence, or a backdrop for lower perennials.
